Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” (Ish. 6: 8)
Greetings in the name of our risen Savior Jesus the Christ! As we enter another year of learning so much has changed in our world and in our lives. The times in which we live are troubling and tumultuous, but we are still called to serve this present age.
I am grateful that through it all Heritage Center has remained steadfast and faithful to our commitment to educate and train those called by God to the work of ministry for this time and the future.
We stand ready to provide cutting edge education for pastors, ministers, and laypersons as they endeavor to sharpen their gifts for the work. Our teachers continue to provide relevant teaching to empower students to reach their goals.
We are grateful for our students who in the past crossed our threshold and are now serving faith communities in unique and masterful ways. They continue to make an impact in the world for the Kingdom of God.
We stand ready once again to engage in critical education for those poised to lead us in this time of uncertainty, but time of discovery. As President I am committed to remain faithful to Heritage Center both staff and students.
I celebrate and invite those who, like the prophet Isaiah, heard the call of God when God said, “Whom shall I send.” They answered the call knowing that they would need to be nurtured and trained by a school that has a reputation for helping them answer, “Here am I Lord, send me.”
This year is set to be a year like none other! There is a powerful shift in the atmosphere and we are prepared to guide those as they are making the shift in their lives and ministry. I ask for your continued prayers for health and strength
for both teachers and students. With God as our guide we will meet our goals and surpass our dreams.
Peace and Love,
Dr. Jacqueline D. Nelson
President
