This is a part two series is a deeper dive into the world of healing yourself and others. In the world of Christian service we often give so much of ourselves to ministry, others, and the dispatching of our God given gifts in the world. The question becomes, how do we honor God’s faithfulness, be obedient & faithful AND be whole for ourselves? Come enter into this course discovering together the answer to this question.
An introduction to ministry and spiritual formation for the practice of ministry. Students will:
• Analyze biblical, theological and historical concepts relevant to “the call” to ministry.
• Develop an understanding of the nature and function of ministry itself.
• Explore the necessity and practice of spiritual formation for ministry.
• Discern, articulate and communicate their particular ministry “calling”.
